Sr. Solution Architect, Software And Controls
OverviewAs Senior Solutions Architect, you provide technical leadership for PLC-based control and power/thermal monitoring systems.
You will guide cross-functional teams to align on architecture, standards, and customer requirements, while exploring innovative solutions for large projects.
You act as a trusted advisor to Vertiv customers and internal sales teams, shaping concept architectures and ensuring seamless integration with power, thermal, and prefab systems.
This role offers impact across product roadmaps, customer engagements, and industry-facing initiatives.
ResponsabilitàDesign scalable, secure PLC-based architectures for control and monitoring systems
Collaborate with Software and Controls sales teams to align on technical solutions
Lead large project specification reviews and ensure alignment with customer requirements
Evaluate and select software frameworks, tools, and technologies for the product roadmap
Mentor software development teams on architecture, coding standards, and best practices
Coordinate with engineering to integrate software with power, thermal, and prefab systems
Oversee PLC/HMI/Gateway/SCADA integration with hardware
Establish system validation and compliance frameworks (IEC, UL)
Stay updated on automation, IoT, and power systems trends to drive innovation
Identify opportunities to improve performance, scalability, and efficiency
Represent Vertiv in industry events and educate selling teams on system architectures
Requisiti fondamentaliElectric or Electronic Engineering Degree or equivilant experience
