Global Technical Support Manager, Protective & Marine Coatings
PPG is seeking aGlobal Technical Support Managerto lead the delivery of high-quality, responsive technical support within PMC Protective business.

This role is critical in ensuring best-in-class customer support for complex and high-value projects, strengthening customer relationships, and supporting business growth through technical excellence and agility.
Location is flexible, with a preference for Pittsburgh, PA, Amsterdam, Mexico City, Wroc?aw, or Kunshan.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate cross-regional technical support efforts,ensuring seamless collaboration, knowledge sharing, and alignment with regional and local technical support teams across geographies
Provide timely and accurate technical support to global customers, KAM teams, and internal stakeholders
Support complex projects and applications, including FPSO/FLNG, infrastructure, and industrial segments
Review and contribute to owner and EPC specifications, ensuring alignment with test data and real-world performance
Preparetechnical statements, reports, and guarantee support documentation
Delivertechnical presentations and workshopsto customers, Owners, and EPCs
Supportspecialized system selectionbased on application requirements
Act as akey interface between Product Management, Engineering, R&D;, and regional teams
Providetechnical support to Global Product Managersand contribute to product development
Ensure availability and communication ofstandards, certifications, and test data
Manage ahigh volume of global technical requests, prioritizing critical and complex inquiries

Qualifications
Degree inEngineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, or related field
Strong experience inProtective & Marine coatings or comparable industries,
Strong business acumen
Proven background intechnical support, project engineering, or specification management
Experience withcomplex global projects (e.g., Marine, EPC-driven environments)preferred
Knowledge ofindustry standards, certifications, and testing protocols.
Experience with complex global projects (e.g. EPC-driven environments) preferred
