Technical Engineer - Temporary Contract
Johnson & Johnson seeks a technical engineer for a 12-month temporary contract based in Pomezia, Italy. The role involves maintaining and repairing surgical equipment, managing spare parts inventory, and providing technical support to internal and external clients in the MedTech division.
Responsibilities
Diagnose and repair surgical equipment, including component replacement and reconnection
Verify equipment functionality post-repair following test procedures and complete repair documentation
Manage spare parts inventory including receipt, dispatch, and restocking activities
Provide technical support to customers via phone, email, and on-site visits
Develop and propose improvements to operational procedures and cost reduction initiatives
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in biomedical, mechanical, or electronic engineering or equivalent
Minimum 6 months post-sale technical support experience preferred
Upper-Intermediate English language proficiency (B2 level)
Knowledge of electrical engineering, metrology, electronics, and mechanical principles
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and SAP Field Service Management
Strong problem-solving and time management skills
Compensation:
€27,600–€44,045 base annually
