HVAC Ducts Designer
Overview In this role you support the Life Sciences division in Milan, delivering HVAC duct design for pharmaceutical and biotech projects across Europe. You work within a multidisciplinary team to develop fully coordinated 3D plant models, ensuring design alignment with budgets and schedules. You'll coordinate with other disciplines, support on-site activities, and guide duct sizing and material take-offs to deliver high-quality, compliant installations. * Collaborate with HVAC engineers to align scope and schedule on projects
* Size and select HVAC components according to design and material specs
* Coordinate with civil, piping, electrical and others to develop a clash-free 3D model
* Perform materials take-offs (component lists and duct quantities)
* Support HVAC engineers with follow-up activities with contractors and vendors
* Coordinate 3D model design by Wood Execution Centre (India) and ensure budget and schedule compliance Requisiti fondamentali
* B.
Sc. or Technical Diploma (expected)
* Proven HVAC ducts design experience in an engineering company
* Experience designing ducts in industrial plants within a 3D environment
* Knowledge of BIM methodology with proficiency in REVIT
* Ability to coordinate work with multiple disciplines to produce a fully coordinated 3D model
* Ability to work in multidisciplinary/multicultural teams
* Availability to support construction activities with on-site visits
* Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools
* Fluent Italian and good English
