Senior Process Engineer
Overview
In this role you will lead the design and start-up of chemical plants, mentoring a team under the Process Manager to deliver discipline documents on schedule and to quality standards. You will collaborate with other engineers and support on-site and remote construction and commissioning activities. The position offers international exposure within a larger group. You’ll influence plant performance from concept through start-up, shaping safe, efficient operations.
Responsabilità
- develop material and heat balances
- create process flow diagrams (PFDs) and size equipment and piping
- prepare data sheets for static and rotating equipment
- develop P&ID; diagrams and process data for instruments, safety valves and rupture discs
- develop electrical user lists with motor power
- review vendors documentation and draft plant operating manuals
- interact with other discipline engineers on process topics
- support construction and commissioning from home office or site as needed
Requisiti fondamentali
- Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering
- fluent written and spoken English
- proficiency with ASPEN HYSYS and EDR
- knowledge of ATEX directives for explosion risk classification
- proficient in MS-Office (Excel/Word/Outlook)
- organised and able to work under peak workload
- team player with ability to travel nationally and internationally
