Purpose and main priorities of the role

We are looking for a Quality Manager at the Fabriano plant,



which specializes in the development and production of all Fabriano Brand products, including Art & Drawing, Stationery, Security papers (Banknote & Passport and others).

In this role, you will ensure product and process quality compliance and improvements within Fabriano plant, meeting company standards, regulatory requirements, and high customer expectations. You will lead and develop the plant quality & laboratory system, promoting a proactive approach to defect prevention, continuous improvement, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and sustainable process optimization.

Your Responsibilities Include

- Manage and coordinate the plant quality management system (ISO 9001, other applicable standards).
- Ensure compliance with products, process, customer.
- Plan and oversee quality control activities in production, incoming, and outgoing inspections.
- Develop & monitor quality KPIs (including, on a non‑exhaustive basis, internal product non‑conformities and raw material non‑conformities)



and define corrective and preventive actions with the various stakeholders.
- Manage customer complaints in close relationship with our centralized Technical Customer Support team. Ensure that the right root cause analysis tools are used and robust corrective actions implemented and sustained.
- Manage or support all audits (ex: ISO audits, customer audits, supplier audits, chain of custody, regulatory).
- Lead and develop the quality team (training, competency development, scheduling).
- Support new product development and introduction.
- Support new product and process introductions, ensuring quality and risk assessment.
- Collaborate with Production, Maintenance, R&D;, Logistics, Purchasing, and HSE to improve quality, reduce costs,



and minimize environmental impact.
- Oversee and coordinate the analytical monitoring of wastewater treatment plant parameters, ensuring control accuracy and effective communication of results to the HSE department.
- Promote a culture of quality, compliance throughout the plant.
- Organize and coordinate daily laboratory activities (tests, analyses, inspections).
- Manage the laboratory team (task assignment, training, shifts, performance monitoring) and the laboratory assets & equipment (calibration, maintenance etc).
- Support initiatives related to waste reduction, resource efficiency, and continuous environmental improvement.

What We’re Looking For

- Degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, or equivalent.




- At least 5 years of experience in a similar role in a manufacturing environment.
- Very strong appetite for Process improvements and Customer satisfaction.
- Experience of Quality Management Systems and tools.
- Experience with problem solving activities utilizing industry standards (8D’s, 5 Why’s, DMAIC, Ishikawa, FMEA’s).
- Strong analytical skills and data driven decision making.
- Experience in Lean projects and process improvement.
- Familiarity with quality tools (e.g. SPC, FMEA, Root Cause Analysis).
- Strong data analysis and KPI management skills (quality indicators).
- Knowledge of the paper industry will be considered a plus.
- Leadership and team management skills.
- Strong problem-solving and continuous improvement mindset.
- Ability to work with targets and manage priorities autonomously.




- Excellent communication and stakeholder management and ability for end-to-end project management.
- Fluent in English and Italian (knowledge of technical English is preferable).
