h3Procurement Purchasing Officer opportunity - European Space Agency /h3 h3Overview: /h3 pOctagon Professionals International is recruiting six to eight Procurement Purchasing Officers to provide end-to-end purchasing support for ESA's Purchase Office Support Service. Each Officer independently handles the full Purchase Order process, in line with the ESA Statement of Work and Tender Conditions. It is an excellent opportunity to build a procurement career within a respected international organisation. Octagon has partnered with ESA and other institutions for more than 35 years. /p h3Role Responsibilities: /h3 ul liAnalyse Purchase Requests and select the appropriate procurement route. /li liPrepare Requests for Quotation and communicate with suppliers. /li liEvaluate quotations and prepare Purchase Orders. /li liSupport commercial negotiations and maintain procurement documentation. /li liProvide procurement advice to ESA customers. /li liContribute to the harmonisation of procurement practices across ESA establishments. /li liDegree or diploma in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business Administration or equivalent. /li liMinimum 3 years of procurement or purchasing experience.
