ph3Job Description /h3pLocation: This role can be based in on of the following facilities – Zagreb, Croatia / Nove Mesto, Slovakia / Bologna, Italy but will require 80% travel across EMEA. /ppThe Supplier Quality Engineer will be responsible for supplier quality management, supplier development, qualification, auditing, and quality assurance activities for Electrical Components including power switching devices, circuit breakers, fuses, wires, cables, and related electrical parts. The role supports NPDI and serial production activities by ensuring supplier capability, compliance with electrical and quality standards, and continuous supplier performance improvement. /ph3Key Responsibilities /h3ulliQualify, evaluate, audit, and develop suppliers within the Electrical Components commodity. /liliLead supplier quality assurance activities during NPDI and serial production phases. /liliEnsure activities related to material and component quality during development and industrialization phases. /liliCoordinate and manage PPAP (Product Part Approval Process) activities with suppliers. /liliPerform periodical supplier evaluations and supplier performance monitoring. /liliSupport supplier capability assessments and supplier improvement programs. /liliManage non-conforming material processes including containment, corrective actions, and return‑back procedures. /liliCoordinate supplier corrective actions and root cause analysis activities. /liliCommunicate with suppliers regarding all quality-related topics. /liliSupport Engineering, Manufacturing, Procurement, and Project teams regarding supplier quality matters. /liliEnsure supplier compliance with drawings,
specifications, electrical standards, and customer requirements. /liliParticipate in supplier audits, workshops, inspections, and technical review meetings. /li /ulh3Required Qualifications /h3ulliBachelor’s degree or higher education qualification in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related technical field. /liliExperience in supplier quality, manufacturing quality, or quality assurance within industrial or electrical manufacturing environments. /liliUnderstanding of electrical components such as power switching devices, circuit breakers, fuses, relays, wires, cables, electrical harnesses, and electrical assemblies. /liliAbility to interpret technical drawings, electrical schematics, cable specifications, and wiring diagrams. /liliKnowledge of quality tools such as 8D, RCA, FMEA, and CAPA. /liliStrong communication and supplier management skills. /liliExperience working with international suppliers. /liliFluent English communication. /li /ulh3Preferred Skills /h3ulliKnowledge of IEC and electrical industry standards. /liliUnderstanding of manufacturing and assembly processes for electrical components, wires, and cables. /liliExperience with supplier audits and process validation.
/liliFamiliarity with PPAP, APQP, and supplier quality processes. /liliExperience with testing and inspection of electrical components, wires, cables, and harness assemblies. /li /ulh3Time Travel Required /h3ulli80 % primarily across EMEA /li /ulp#vertivireland /ppThis role may be performed in multiple jurisdictions.
