pThe bGroup Chief Anti Financial Crime Officer /b (GAFC) is a control Function in Group Head Office reporting to the Board of Directors of Assicurazioni Generali SpA. /p pThe GAFC has been appointed by and reports directly to the Board of Directors of Assicurazioni Generali SpA. /p pGAFC Function is responsible for the supervision and coordination of the following compliance risks in the Group: /p ul liTerrorism financing /li liInternational Sanctions/ Embargos /li liAnti-bribery corruption /li /ul pAmong it, the GROUP ANTI FINANCIAL CRIME, GAFC AML Advisory Governance and Oversight is the unit responsible for the Governance of the Generali Group Companies subject to AML Regulation; The unit is also responsible to review the AML applicable framework, policies and procedures of Generali Group. /p pIts role is varied and requires strong communication and analytical skills in order to meet the demand of being part of a global function under increasing regulatory scrutiny and management attention. /p pThe role holder, reporting to Head of Group AML Advisory, Governance Oversight, is accountable mainly for the following activities: /p ul liIdentify and evaluate through gap analysis the new AML/CTF requirements, and their impacts on the Group /li liDraft and maintain Group AML/CTF policies, guidelines, standards and technical measures /li liCoordinate the cascading of the Group AML/CTF standards to the Group Entities /li liProvide with opinions to Business Functions and Local Anti-Financial Crime teams (e.g., deviations from group standards, assessment of high risk customers, ordinary and extraordinary transactions) /li liCooperate in the definition of the AML/CTF training strategy and contents, maintain training catalogue and deliver classroom sessions /li liPerform anti-financial crime governance oversight reviews, issue findings and monitor remediation actions /li liActively propose and manage Group AML CTF initiatives and provide AML/CTF technical and business requirements for Group Projects /li liProactively cooperate with key stakeholders (Audit, Group Compliance, Risk Management) /li liReport, communicate, and track identified issues, risks and recommendations, in alignment and coordination with Group AFC Risk Assessment and Controls /li liDevelop and maintain strong and effective working relationships with Group Legal Entities AML Officers and their staff /li liSupport the preparation of regular reporting towards the Board, the Corporate Bodies/Committees and other relevant functions, tailoring the document and the details provided on the basis of the audience, ensuring the identified issues,
gaps and rooms for improvements are transparently shared and acknowledged by the stakeholders /li liSupport AML/CTF investigations and analysis of potential SARs and prepare reports for validation and submission /li liManage and evolve the Anti-Financial Crime Governance Framework across the Group /li liCoordinate AML/CTF regulatory inspections and interactions with EU and Italian authorities /li liMeasure the complexity (riskiness) of all entities within the Group to ascertain whether specific governance and organizational arrangements (e.g., separation of Compliance and AFC Functions, etc.) are needed /li liSupervise the Group AFC perimeter and oversight model /li liSupport budget planning, monitoring and reporting activities for the AFC Function. /li /ul h3Requirements /h3 ul liMaster Degree in Economics or Law /li liAt least 5-7 years’ experience within international banking, financial institutions or consulting firms, gathered in Anti Financial Crime/ AML Teams and/or Audit on AML topics /li liGood knowledge of latest EU and Italian AML/CTF regulations and international standards /li liExperience in AML Governance, policy drafting and regulatory framework implementation /li liExperience dealing with supervisory authorities and regulatory inspections /li liKnowledge of SAR processes, KYC, CDD, transaction monitoring and financial crime risk management /li liExcellent stakeholder management, reporting and presentation skills /li liUnderstanding of AFC processes including identifying and evaluating financial crime risks, identifying and evaluating controls, determining root causes, and recommending impactful solutions. This should include an understanding of program governance, risk assessment, transaction monitoring, KYC, CDD and name screening /li liHigh degree of accuracy, attention to detail, and well-organized working method /li liAbility to synthesize laws, rules and regulations into practice /li liAbility to operate in a large financial groups, build relationships across business lines, strong communications skills /li liExcellent verbal (fluency) and written communication skills in English /li liAbility to work independently /li liAn open, dedicated, collaborative approach, and a “can do” attitude /li /ul h3Nice to have: /h3 ul liCAMS/ ICA certifications /li liExperience in AML teams of large financial groups and insurance sector /li liItalian and other languages, besides English (French, German) /li /ul h3What we offer /h3 pWe offer employment at the VI level with the relevant salary,
in accordance with the CCNL ANIA for non-executive employees and the Generali Group Company Agreement. /p pGross annual salary ranging between 43K€ and 53K€.
