Working closely with councils, state development bodies and key stakeholders, you will influence development outcomes that balance community growth with the protection of critical water infrastructure and catchment assets, while delivering safe, efficient and high-quality outcomes aligned to organisational priorities. /ph3Key responsibilities /h3ulliLead the assessment and response to development applications impacting Seqwater’s state interests, ensuring timely,

consistent and defensible outcomes. /liliOversee the management of third-party works affecting Seqwater assets, including assessment, conditions and risk-based supervision. /liliBuild and maintain strong relationships with councils, state development bodies and other key stakeholders. /liliLead and develop a high-performing team through coaching, mentoring, performance management and capability building. /liliDrive business performance by translating strategy into operational delivery and contributing to organisational objectives and transformation initiatives. /liliEnsure effective risk management, governance and regulatory compliance while delivering services in a prudent and efficient manner. /li /ulh3About you /h3h3To be successful in this role, you will possess /h3ulliDegree qualification in Engineering in a relevant discipline. /liliRPEQ in a relevant field (e.g. civil) /liliExtensive experience (15+ years) in the design, construction, maintenance or operation of water infrastructure assets. /liliProven experience managing and mitigating third-party impacts on built utility assets. /liliStrong knowledge of planning legislation and development application assessment processes. /liliDemonstrated leadership, stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to influence outcomes and lead multidisciplinary teams. /li /ulpThis position will be offered on a permanent full-time basis with a competitive salary, plus 12.75% superannuation. /ppAppointment to this role is subject to the provision of a national police check and may be subject to other medical/character requirements.
