Together we provide integrated engineering and project management services across the project lifecycle – from concept and design to construction and operations, to decommissioning or repowering and life extension. Together with our clients, we’re helping to deliver the energy transition globally. /p h3Overview of the role /h3 pThe Energy Transition team within our Energy unit is looking for Electrical Engineers to strengthen the existing ECI team; providing advisory and design capabilities across a variety of power and energy projects types and technologies in a growing portfolio, supporting our clients in the UK and across Europe as part of the energy transition.

/p pKey responsibilities and duties include: /p ul liLead and work with the wider project team to develop cost‑effective, efficient and innovative solutions to complex problems to create practical designs based on these solutions /li liWorking on projects in a variety of stages of maturity, including Design Review, Feasibility Studies, FEED Studies and Detailed Design; Coordinate Electrical delivery on multi‑disciplinary project, interfacing with other disciplines , project engineer, project manager and client /li liPreparation and development of Electrical deliverables such as specifications, Single Line Diagrams (SLD), cable calculations, cable block diagrams, plant layouts, cable routing, cable containment design, switchgear configurations philosophies and produce bill of materials/quantities for electrical systems /li liWorking with equipment vendors on developing designs of equipment packages and participating in technical evaluations of vendor designs /li liParticipation in safety reviews (HAZID, HAZOP, LOPA) /li liSupport in developing proposals and bids for the Electrical discipline and contributing to multi‑disciplinary proposals /li liUnderstand CDM and other relevant HSE legislation /li liProvide technical leadership and governance /li liA commitment to promoting health, safety, and wellbeing in the workplace /li liA Degree in a relevant Engineering subject /li liChartered Engineer (or in the process of obtaining)
