IRCCS Ospedale San Raffaele, an internationally renowned clinical, scientific, and academic institution specializing in several major diseases, is seeking a Junior Postdoctoral Researcher to join the Immuno-Biotherapy of Melanoma and Solid Tumors Unit within the Comprehensive Cancer Center.

About The Project

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated postdoctoral fellow to work on a project funded by the Italian Ministry of Health, focused on understanding the reprogramming of the tumor draining lymph node (TDLN) in melanoma. The successful candidate will investigate the molecular and cellular mechanisms, and phenotypic reprogramming of immune cells in TDLNs. The candidate will have access to advanced 3D dynamic culture systems, single cell RNA sequencing, spectral flow cytometry and preclinical models of cancer.

Who We Are Looking For

- Applicants with a Ph.D. in cancer biology,

immunology or equivalent research experience;
- Hands-on experience in flow cytometry, confocal imaging and pre-clinical models of cancer;
- Ability to teamwork, a solution-oriented attitude, and excellent organization skills;
- Excellent communication skills in spoken and written English are expected.

Work details

- Type of contract: to be determined;
- Gross annual salary range: €35,000 to €40,000;
- Duration: renewable up to 3 years;
- Place of work: San Raffaele Scientific Institute, Milan, Italy.
