OverIT - Field Service Management
OverIT at a glance
OverIT is a global Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) company with a strong presence in North America and Europe.
We empower organizations in the power, utility, telco, and transportation industries to manage their mission-critical infrastructures efficiently and safely through cutting-edge Field Service Management software solutions.
At OverIT, we leverage advanced technologies like ML (Machine Learning), AR (Augmented Reality), IoT (Internet of Things), and GIS (Geographic Information System) to help ensure the infrastructures essential to our daily lives are always on.

What you’ll do
- Rebuild and evolve our design system: a library of reusable, accessible Angular components adopted across every product team to accelerate development.
- Publish and version these components as libraries, with clear documentation, migration guides for breaking changes, and automated test coverage that lets consuming teams upgrade with confidence.
- Build and maintain applications inside an NX monorepo, structuring libraries, dependency graphs, and workspace boundaries so the codebase scales with the team.
- Design and implement complex, configuration-driven dynamic forms — forms that adapt their fields, validation, and behavior at runtime, and that stay accessible throughout.
- Build advanced, high-craft visual experiences — maps, charts, calendars, drag-and-drop interactions — that stay lightweight and intuitive even with dense, real-time data.
- Champion accessibility as a default in every component and screen, not a checklist item at the end.
- Design and own comprehensive automated testing strategies for your applications — unit, integration, and especially end-to-end — using Playwright or equivalent for e2e coverage.
- Bring ideas that improve the overall web Software Development Life Cycle: tooling, build performance, testing strategy,
developer experience.
- Explore and apply AI-native engineering practices in your daily workflow — including agentic development tools and Agent Development Lifecycle (ADLC) practices — with a clear eye on token consumption and the judgment to know when to lean on AI assistance and when not to.
- Mentor engineers through technical leadership, code reviews, and knowledge sharing.
What you’ll need
- Solid experience in Frontend Engineering, with a proven track record shipping production applications end to end.
- Deep, hands-on expertise in Angular, including modern patterns (standalone components, signals, reactive forms, RxJS).
- Real, hands-on experience with NX monorepos — library boundaries, dependency graphs, build caching, and workspace organization at scale.
- A demonstrated track record building design systems or shared component libraries that other teams actually adopt, not just build and abandon.
- Experience building genuinely accessible interfaces (WCAG-level thinking, not semantic HTML as an afterthought).
- Hands-on experience with configuration-driven dynamic forms and advanced data visualizations — charts, maps, calendars, drag-and-drop.
- Proficiency with Playwright or equivalent and proven experience setting up effective, comprehensive automated testing strategies (unit, integration, e2e) for real-world applications.
- Genuine,
hands-on experience with AI-assisted and agentic development tools as part of your daily workflow — including a track record of leveraging modern LLM-assisted development, awareness of your own token consumption, and the judgment to know when the tools help and when they don't.
- Strong, well-formed opinions on sticking to industry standards over reinventing the wheel.
- Professional working proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
What’s nice to have
- Familiarity with OIDC on the frontend — auth flows, token handling, session management.
- Experience with mapping libraries (e.g., Leaflet, Mapbox, ESRI) or charting libraries at scale.
- A track record of driving frontend tooling or process improvements beyond your own team.
- Contributions to open-source projects or other significant personal technical achievements — a strong signal of genuine engineering craft.
- Accessibility, cloud, or software architecture certifications.
