You will be part of the Corporate Audit team, whose mission is to provide independent and objective risk-based assurance, advisory, and forensic services that help safeguard ST assets, improve operations, and strengthen governance, risk management, and control across the organization.
The recruitment is open for Agrate and Grenoble sites.
YOUR ROLE
You support the Head of Forensic and contribute to the Forensic function by
- Supporting or leading forensic investigations related to fraud, corruption, conflicts of interest, policy breaches, data misuse, and other misconduct.
- Collecting, analyzing, and documenting evidence in a structured and traceable way.
- Preparing investigation plans, interview support documents, evidence logs, fact-finding analyses, and final reports.
- Identifying root causes, control weaknesses, and remediation actions.
- Interfacing with internal stakeholders while safeguarding confidentiality, independence,
and procedural integrity.
- Using data analytics, automation, and AI-enabled methods to support investigations and detect suspicious patterns.
- Contributing to the design and improvement of forensic analytics models and reporting tools.
- Drafting clear, concise, and well-supported documentation for management and governance stakeholders.
- Supporting internal audit assignments and aligned assurance activities when required.
Your Skills & Experiences
- University degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- At least 5 years of experience in forensic, internal audit, compliance, or related investigative activities.
- CIA (Certified Internal Auditor) and CFE (Certified Forensic Examine) certifications are preferred
- Demonstrated experience in handling sensitive matters and confidential information.
- Strong knowledge of forensic investigation methods, evidence handling, fraud risk indicators, and internal control frameworks.
- Experience in data analytics in support of investigations, monitoring, or control testing.
- Strong knowledge of Excel, Office Suite, and data visualization / analytics tools.
- Ability to work with cross-functional and multicultural teams in a senior expert environment.
- High level of integrity, independence, confidentiality, and accountability.
- Strong analytical mindset, judgment, and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Italian and French are an advantage.
The expected salary range for this position if based in Italy is € 60,000 – €75,000 gross annual salary (RAL), plus variable pay relevant for the role. In accordance with the EU Pay Transparency Directive and applicable Italian legislation, this compensation range has been determined based on objective, gender-neutral criteria, including job responsibilities, required skills, relevant experience, qualifications, and market benchmarks. Placement within the range will depend on the candidate’s profile and demonstrated competencies. The final offer will be made in compliance with the applicable National Collective Bargaining Agreement (CCNL), where relevant, and our internal compensation policies.
